Philippine American Society, Inc.
The Philippine American Society, Inc. (PAS) is a Tax-exempt
501 (c ) (3) non-profit organization of Palm Beach County
whose mission is to promote the Filipino heritage, culture
and traditions to Filipino-Americans future generations
and to people of all cultures.
The Filipino-Americans are growing as a community in
South Florida. Census Data 2000 Asian Category showed
that there are 261,672 Asians in Florida, the Filipinos
is second highest, (54,310), next to Asian Indian, (70,740).
As professionals, mostly in medical, education, and
business fields, we are becoming an integral part of
the community.
Philippine American Society (PAS) Mission Statement
To promote coalition and collaboration among Filipino
Americans and other nationalities, locally and nationally.
To foster a positive image of Filipino Americans in
our community. To preserve and share our Filipino heritage,
culture and tradition to future generation. To inspire
and support Filipino American youths to become future
leaders by mentoring and sharing responsibilities and
challenges in the community. To maintain the Society’s
510 (c ) (3) status as a charitable, civic, cultural,
and educational organization. PAS further envisions
a unified, growth oriented organization where each member
and officer shall strive hard to promote the society’s
mission and to accomplish goals that shall benefit the
interest of the Society’s members. |
